Discovery

WEEK 1

15-minute discovery call. Erica reads any draft you have, names the document's audience and deadline, and confirms what's needed. NDA is signed before the call if the material is sensitive. You leave with a same-day indicative price and a fixed delivery date.

Design

WEEKS 1–3 (faster on a tight deadline)

Cover and section opener concepts first, then a sample spread that locks the typographic system, data design and illustration approach. The rest of the document follows that system page by page. Two structured rounds of feedback against the chosen direction.

Delivery

FINAL WEEK

Press-ready PDF, digital PDF, and editable PowerPoint or InDesign master, where the licence allows. Print management coordinated with the studio's Brisbane print partners if you need physical copies for a board or stakeholder distribution.

How does your design process work?

Four stages: Discovery, Development, Refinement, Implementation.


Discovery starts with a 15-minute scoping call and a written brief sign-off, so both sides know exactly what's being made and why.


Development produces a real first-pass concept — sample spreads or designed pages, not mood boards.


Refinement runs two structured rounds of feedback in a single shared file. No version-control chaos.


Implementation delivers press-ready and digital-ready files, plus ongoing tweaks within the engagement window.


The point of contact is always Erica — same designer at the scoping call, the concept review, and the press-ready hand-off. No agency baton-pass, no project manager translating between client and creative.


Most projects begin within the same week as the scoping call.

What types of documents can you design?

Documents include reports, proposals, pitch decks, information memorandums, company profiles, HR policies, operational manuals, procedures, and presentations.

How long does it typically take?

Information Memorandums and annual reports run 2–4 weeks. Larger or multi-deliverable projects are quoted with their own timeline.


Tighter deadlines are accommodated when capacity allows — the studio has turned around capital-raise IMs and pitch decks in under a fortnight where a deal cycle required it. Bring the deadline to the scoping call; you'll have a confirmed timeline before that 15 minutes is up.

Do you work with clients across Australia?

Yes. The studio is Brisbane-based and works with clients in every Australian capital and across regional areas of Australia, with selected projects in New Zealand, the UK and the US.


Recent corporate clients include Gold Hydrogen, Eastern Metals, Sojitz Blue, MHi Hub, Longreach Regional Council and Woollahra Municipal Council — every project ran end-to-end remotely, with print and production managed wherever the client is based.

Can you work with our existing branding or content?

Yes — most corporate projects start inside an existing brand. Erica works directly from your style guide, master files, or whatever assets exist (even if it's just a logo and a colour reference).


Where the brand could be lifted alongside the project, that can happen in the same engagement rather than as a separate rebrand. No need to choose between "use what we have" and "start from scratch" before the call.

Can you handle confidential board papers and regulator submissions?

Yes. Documents with restricted distribution — board papers, regulator submissions, pre-announcement materials — pass through this studio under standard NDA. Confidentiality is built into how every brief is run. NDAs can be signed before the discovery call for market-sensitive material.

Files are stored on Australian infrastructure, never reused in third-party marketing without written permission, and never fed into external AI training tools.

Do you help with content, or just the design?

Design is the core of the work, and that includes shaping how content reads on the page — structure, hierarchy, emphasis, white-space. The way information is arranged is half the design.


Where copy needs to be written rather than refined, Erica brings in trusted Brisbane and Sydney copywriters who already know the studio's process and quality bar. You do not need finished copy to start the project — bring what you have to the scoping call, and the rest is mapped from there.

How does pricing work?

Every document is scoped to your audience, your deadline, and your content readiness. Pricing depends on page count (typical corporate documents span 20–80 pages), illustration and data-design needs, deadline pressure, and how much content arrives ready versus needing refinement.

The 15-minute discovery call covers all of those, and an indicative price lands in your inbox the same day.
